Kitchen Foods That Will Fix Your Beauty & Hair Problems

Do you have  an ugly pimple or sunburnt skin? Got stressed-out, frizzy hair? No need to go out and buy expensive products—check your kitchen and you’ll find just the remedy you’re looking for. Here is a list down of foods that are the perfect fix for your beauty and hair disasters.

1. Red, Sensitive Skin or Allergies: Green Tea

Whether you’re down with a cold and red nose or have a skin rash, drink a cup of organic green tea as it has a host of antioxidants that help fight your health problems. In fact, you can let the tea cool off and put in the refrigerator in a bottle. Splash a bit of it when you feel itchy or dry.

2. Skin Burn: Tomatoes

Heat will bring with it sunburns and skin damage. In spite of using enough sunscreen, you might end up having burns and marks on your face. Gulp down a glass of tomato juice or replace your chips with a bowl of the red fruit. It acts as a natural sun protecting agent. You can even apply a bit of juice over your skin right before your bath.

3. Dark Spots, Blemishes: Yoghurt

Get rid of your dark spots and marks with yoghurt. Have a bowl of it every day to get some milk protein and natural decolouring agent in your system. You can even apply it on dry skin for 10 minutes and wash it off with a face wash.

4. Acne: Strawberries

Prevent and cure acne with these small pink berries that are packed with antioxidants and vitamin C. Strawberries keep pimples and skin infections at the bay while improving your immunity. Pop a few in place of your fried snack or mash them and apply on your face for glowing, acne-free skin.

5. Puffy Eyes: Lemon Water

Had one too many drinks last night? Ensure you gulp down a glass of water with freshly squeezed lemon juice to keep you hydrated and reduce puffy eyes.

6. Sticky, Greasy: Oatmeal

Erratic spells of rains can leave your hair greasy and dirty. Have oatmeal for breakfast every day, as it helps control the oil-producing capacity of your hair roots. Alternatively, apply oatmeal paste to the roots of your hair, which will suck out the unnecessary oil before you wash your hair with your regular shampoo.

7. Dry, Frizzy Hair: Walnuts

If you have unmanageable frizzy hair, pop in a handful of walnuts every day. They are rich in amino acids and the oil that your scalp needs to grow healthy hair. Try applying authentic walnut oil to your roots a few hours before you wash your hair.
